(Prerequisite: You must have worked as an Oklahoma Certified Nurse Aide for at least 6 months.) The state of Oklahoma requires that persons administering medications in nursing/health facilities must be certified or licensed. This program prepares you to become certified. Learn to administer medications and how medications affect the systems of the body. You must make payment, fill out a background check which is available in the KTC office, provide a copy of your current photo id and social security card, provide a copy of a negative TB skin test from within the last year and a copy of your HS Diploma or GED. ALL of this must be completed by May 30th..

Phlebotomy 42 Hours Anyone 18 years and older with a desire to be a Phlebotomist in a health care setting may enroll.  The possibilities for employment as a Phlebotomist are endless.  Physicians, hospitals, insurance companies, clinics, and blood banks are possible areas where you may be employed.  The course will cover safety and infection control, circulatory system and lymphatic system, venipunctures, dermal punctures, and testing, equipment and skills, employability and job seeking skills.
