This course will prepare you to work for an organization as a security guard. Duties usually include protecting an organization's property, equipment, people, etc. from a variety of hazards (such as waste, damaged property, unsafe worker behaviour, criminal activity such as theft, etc.) by using preventative measures.

This course which meets State of Oklahoma requirements prepares Paraprofessionals to provide services to children and youth with disabilities. Paraprofessionals assist schools in providing free and appropriate public education to students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment.  Must be at least 18 years of age, but you do not have to be employed by a school in order to enroll in this course. Other qualifications to be met are: *Have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education defined as completion of 48 semester hours of college coursework; or *Have obtained an associate's degree (or higher); or *Have taken and passed the WorkKeys test, Parapro Test or the Oklahoma General Education Test
