« back to classes page
Broomstick Lace is a form of lacey crochet that uses the basic single crochet.  If you can crochet a chain and do a simple single crochet, then you can do this pattern.  You will need to bring either an old broomstick (that's been cut down to a fairly manageable length of about 15-18"), or a size 50 "knitting" needle, or even the handle of a plumber's helper (clean one of course)....anything that can be used to put loops of thread on.  Also bring some yarn to play with as well.  This is a fun pattern to play with and makes some beautiful afghans among other things!  Come join the fun.  Think of the holidays, too, in terms of possible gifts.
