There are many types of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, and bi-polar disorder. The aim of Mental Health Awareness workshop is for you to gain a wider understanding of the issues surrounding mental health, both your own and others, and to work more effectively with mental health problems. This workshop is suitable for anyone over the age of 16. Some of the topics you will discuss include: what is mental health, recognizing distress, supporting people in distress, emotional wellbeing, and positive mental health.
