CourseGraphic Skills in basic computer applications are absolutely vital to success in business. In this course, you will learn basic word processing techniques using Microsoft Word, including writing business correspondence, using desktop publishing features, formatting reports, and creating tables. In addition, you will gain experience using basic tools in Microsoft Excel including creating and using basic spreadsheets, entering/editing data, and learning to write simple formulas. Students should already know how to touch keyboard. This course can be taken as a stand-alone class, however, it is also one of seven required courses to complete the “Administrative Assistant Fast-Track”.
